Where can I find statistics on the risks of plastic surgery?
Statistics are often found on government and organization websites. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons has some "Plastic Surgery Procedural Statistics" arranged by year at the bottom of their News and Resources page. Try searching www.usa.gov for statistics compiled by the government.
For books, search the Book Catalog for plastic surgery risks. To get to the book catalog, start at the Library Home Page (https://sites.google.com/a/baker.edu/online-resources/home), and click on Find Books.
For articles, start at the Library Home Page (https://sites.google.com/a/baker.edu/online-resources/home), click on Find Articles & Databases, and click on the Medical category, then select one of the databases below. If you are off-campus you will need to use your 14 digit Library Card number, which can be found on your ID Card or in SOLAR. Try the keywords plastic surgery statistics.
