What is Google Scholar?
Google Scholar (http://scholar.google.com/) is:
- A type of Google search which is used for finding published articles which have been digitized and made available online.
- In a normal Google search, most of what you find are websites, that anyone can create and upload to the internet.
- This means that Google Scholar is a more appropriate way to search for resources for your college level assignments than a regular Google search.

Another good place to start your research is the library's databases, which also contain articles from published academic journals. You will find different articles when searching the databases than you do when searching Google Scholar.
