If I want to use different parts of a website, do I create a citation for each part?
How to cite a website depends on the parts of the website you are using. Consider these questions:
- Does the website have separate authors or editors for each section?
- Are the pages hard to navigate to from the homepage?
- Is the website particularly large?
- If you answered yes to these questions, then you may need a citation for each page you used.
Most websites that don't fit the criteria above would have just one entry on your References page to cover the whole website.
For information on how to cite a website, see the Baker APA Help guide.
