Can a quote be put in a conclusion?
To decide whether a quote will work well in your conclusion, consider these questions:
--Is the quote further evidence for your argument?
If so, then it might belong in the body of your paper.
--Is it an interesting and attention grabbing quote that you plan to use more for style than for evidence?
Perhaps it would be better suited to your introduction rather than your conclusion.
To discuss the use of a specific quotation, you may want to make an appointment at the Writing Center or with a tutor.
