I have to watch a video for my history of psych class. When I enter my library number it does not work.
History of Psychology has a Research Guide with links to the videos. See the Films on Demand box.
If your computer is giving you a security message about cookies you may need to turn-off your cookies or your security until you are done with your video. Then turn them back on.
You may want to try a different browser.
When you click the video title link in a database, the vidoe opens in a pop-up window. If you are not able to view the video, it may be because you need to disable your pop-up blocker or configure it to allow pop-ups from the database site. Look for a message near the address bar of your browser;look in the Tools drop down window; there should be instructions on allowing pop-ups.
If you are attempting to watch a video through Films on Demand and nothing happens or you receive a Add-on message follow these steps.
If you receive a message that states: This website wants to run the following add-on: ‘DRM ActiveX Network Object’ from Microsoft Corporation’. If you trust the website and the add-on and want to allow it to run, click here…
Click on this message at the top. From the list of choices select the first option of Run Add-on, and next there may be a security pop up box, from this select the run button.
Once you have completed this process you should be able to view the Films on Demand video.
