Answer
Baker's Research Guides, formerly known as LibGuides, are guides created by Baker librarians to help you find information in your area of study. There is a research guide for every program Baker offers and there are also guides for some of our classes and some other topics such as Detroit, How to do Library Research, and How to Research a Business. You can find them by visiting the library's website and clicking on Research Guides.
On an individual guide you will find:
- Recommended databases to use to find information on the guide's subject--click on these to search for articles on a related topic.
- Recommended E-Books and call numbers where you can find books on the subject on the library's shelves.
- Recommended websites that are helpful for research on the subject.
- Recommended keywords for searching the library's catalog, databases, and search engines such as Google.
You will NOT find:
- Links to specific articles on your topic
- An exhaustive list of all possible topics on the guide's subject
