Q. The library database article I chose does not show the author name. Is it alright to use Anonymous?

Answer

If the author is not identified, you should start the citation with the article title. The citation should have the following elements, in the order shown:

Article title. (date). Journal Title, volume(issue), pages. Retrieved from <name of the database>.

Example:

Article: No author

Manna for Motown; Detroit's bankruptcy. (2013, October 5). The Economist, 409(8856), 32(US). Retrieved from Newsstand database.
