Q. Under the various databases I noticed you can mark documents. How do I go back and retrieve the ones I've marked at a later date?
The mark feature available in the databases allows you to group articles you want, then download or email the list for easy reference if you want to access the articles again, or to aid in constructing your reference list. This feature is only good for your current session. Once you navigate away from the database or close your browser, this information will be lost.
The safest ways to save selected articles for a future session are:
- E-mail the articles to yourself.
- Save articles to your flash drive or computer.
- Create an account within the database.
Do not save articles by copying the url (web address) from your browser. These urls are not static webpages that will take you back to the article. You should at least copy the citation information (title, author, etc.), and a librarian can always help you find it again later.
