What is Google Scholar?

Answer

Google Scholar (https://scholar.google.com/) is a:

  • Type of Google search which is used for finding published articles which have been digitized.
  • Way to search for credible resources for your college level assignments.

In a regular Google search, most of the results are websites which anyone can create and upload.

For help, read the Search Tips.

Another good place to start your research is the library's databases, which also contain articles from published academic journals. You will find different articles when searching the databases than you do when searching Google Scholar.
