Q. Where can I find theoretical perspectives associated with the New Psychology?

First, go to the Library Webpage.

For articles, click on Find Articles & Databases. I would try using Psychology Databases like Proquest Psychology Journals, Pyschology Collection (InfoTrac), or PsycARTICLES. Once you're in the databases you can limit them to full text and peer reviewed. If your keywords are not working, try other words that mean the same thing. Make sure you spell each word correctly, or the database will not recognize them.

Try a variety of keywords, such as theoretical perspectives and psychology or new psychology and perspective. Once you run a search in the databases, some suggested subjects will appear. These can help you rephrase your search in a way the database can understand. When you are searching by keyword, you will get many hits, but if you narrow it down to a subject the database recognizes, you will get fewer hits that are closer to what you are looking for.
