Q. How do I read the books I find in the online library?

When you find a book you'd like to read in the online book catalog, it will either be an ebook marked [electronic resource], which you can read online, or a print book which you can put on hold.

If you want to read an ebook, click on the url link to open the book and enter your 14 digit library card number from the back of your student ID. You can also look up your number in SOLAR.

If you want to read a print book, you can pick it up from the campus where it is located or have it sent to your Baker campus library by  clicking the Place Hold link in the record for your book. If you are an online student, the Place Hold link will mail the book to your address instead of to one of the campus libraries.
