Q. In a reference list which words in the titles of books should be capitalized?

Answer

Capitalize the first word in the title of the book and the first word after the colon. Also capitalize any proper nouns in the title, such as a person's name or a country's name.

Example:

Waller, B. N. (2010). Consider ethics: Theory, readings, and contemporary issues (3rd ed.). Upper Saddle River, NJ: Prentice Hall.
