Q. Can you help me find the definition of scholarly information?

Scholarly information is written by experts in a field (people with advanced degrees and/or experience doing research in the field).  Peer-reviewed or refereed articles are types of scholarly articles.  Scholarly articles are intended to be read by other experts and students in the field rather than for entertainment purposes, like a magazine article.

You can access scholarly articles from the library's databases. When you open a database and type your topic in the search box, select the scholarly journals option to limit your search to scholarly information.

Thank you for using ASK US.  For more information contact your Campus Library/ARC.
