How would I cite the Bible in text and at the end of a paper?
Answer
Bible passages should only be cited in the text of the paper, so no Reference page citation is required.
Use this format:
"Quote" (Book Chapter:Verse Translation).
Example:
"And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:31 King James Version).
