Q. I am a Baker College student and have not been able to access anything in this library. The class I am in now requires me to use the library.

Please let us know what topic you are having difficulties finding information on. Here are some ideas to get you started:

To find books, begin at the Baker website, click on Library in the Current Students section, and click on Find Books and Ebooks. There you will be able to search for a topic or a title that you are interested in. You can limit your search to just your campus or have books sent from other campuses with the Place Hold button.

To find articles, begin on the library's website and click on Find Articles and databases. Select a category that matches your topic, or stick to a General/Interdisciplinary database such as Academic OneFile (InfoTrac) or OmniFile Full Text Select. Once you choose a database, you will be able to search for a topic. Make sure you search for keywords rather than a sentence or a question.

Thank you for using ASKUS. Please contact your librarians whenever you have a question about the library. We are here to make searching for information easy for you.
