Q. How do you cite in APA a sentence where you are using two different sources in the same sentence?

Answer

To cite multiple sources in one citation:

  • Separate the 2 sources by a semicolon
  • List authors in the same order as they appear on the References page.

Example:

Pony stories offer both realism and fantasy, combining highly detailed, practical and technical information about riding and stable care, with traditional ‘transformation’ stories (Celestia, 2016; Dash, 2017).
