Is an article from a nursing journal a peer-reviewed article that is acceptable?

It could be. Many nursing journals publish peer reviewed articles.
To be peer reviewed, the article would be:
- Written by a nurse, physician or other expert in the medical field.
- Followed by references.
- Usually be arranged into sections such as Method, Results, and Conclusion.
