My book has a subtitle. Do I include that in my references?

Answer

Yes, you should include the title, a colon, and the subtitle. However, you should only capitalize the first word of the title and the subtitle on your references page, not every word as you would in the body of your paper.

Here is an example from the APA Help guide:

Books: One author

Waller, B. N. (2011). Consider ethics: Theory, readings, and contemporary issues (3rd ed.). Prentice Hall.
