I bookmarked a few articles in the databases, but the links aren't working. How can I retrieve the articles?

Answer

Bookmarked articles are only saved during your current session in the database.  If you close your browser and come back later, they will likely be gone.

The safest ways to save selected articles for a future session are:

  • E-mail the articles to yourself.
  • Save articles to your flash drive or computer.
  • Create an account within the database.

Do not save articles by copying the url (web address) from your browser.  These urls are not static webpages that will take you back to the article.  You should at least copy the citation information (title, author, etc.), and a librarian can always help you find it again later.

Thank you for using ASK US. If you need further help with articles, please contact your Baker librarians.
