Q. If a book was first published in 2003, then was printed again in 04, and 08, what date do I use when making a reference or cite?

Wall, T. F. (2008). Thinking critically about moral problems. Belmont: Wadsworth.

Answer

When there is more than one publication year listed for a book, list the most recent copyright date.

Also, make sure you include the state - in this case, CA - when listing the place of publication.
