If two authors have the same last name:
- The References page should be alphabetized by their first name initials.
Example-References page:
Johnson, E. (2011). . . .
Johnson, L. (2014). . . .
- In-text citation (according to the Purdue Online Writing Lab):
- To prevent confusion, use first initials with the last names.
Example-In-text citation:
(E. Johnson, 2011; L. Johnson, 2014)
