Q. What is the footnote for?
Answer
Footnotes are:
- Found at the bottom of a page
- Used either as part of a citation style (copyright) or as a way to give the reader supplemental information (content)
- Used in Chicago style citation
- Baker College uses APA citation style and footnotes are very rarely used in APA.
Here is an article from the official APA Style blog that discusses footnotes in APA.
