What is the difference between a works cited page, a bibliography, and a References page?

Answer

Baker College uses APA Style for writing papers:

  • APA calls the last page of the paper (with the citations) a References page.
  • To see an example of a References page, consult the APA Help Guide.

The other terms mentioned--Works Cited and Bibliography, are used by other styles (such as MLA).

  • They are all terms for the last page of a paper, with the books, articles, and websites used.
