How do I cite information such as pricing from a company's website?

Answer

To cite a company website on the References page:

  • Use the company information based on where you found it.
  • So, if you found pricing information on a website, use that information.

Company Name. (Date). Title of page. Retrieved from website address.

Example:

Apple. (2019). Shop iPad.  Retrieved from https://www.apple.com/ipad/

In-text citation:

Paraphrase: (Company Name, Date).

Quotation: (Company Name, Date, para. number).  (para means paragraph)

*APA 7 does not require the use of “Retrieved from” before URLs or DOIs, however, if the website or resource is unarchived including "Retrieved from” tells the reader that the version of the resource may be different from when it was initially cited.*
