Q. How do I find a map that would let me find certain coordinates?

I also need to find the name of the island that is 200 miles northeast from 10 degrees north latitude and 170 degrees east longitude. Furthermore I need to know where to look to find out any information on the climate, winds, currents and life in and around these areas.

Thank you for your question on how to find latitude and longitude coordinates.

Try SunEarth Tools.com to search for a set of coordinates and use the distance tool to figure out what is 200 miles northeast (or 45 degrees) from any location.

To find information about climate and life in an area, visit the library's website and pick History/Geography/World Culture, then try the database:

If you are off-campus you will need to use your 14 digit Library Card number, which can be found on your ID Card.
