I have an APA question. I have to put the title of a journal article and of a book. Are each italicized or in quotes?

For APA Style, on the References page:

  • The title of a book is in italics.
  • The title of a journal is in italics.
  • The title of a journal article is not in italics or in quotation marks.

In the body of your paper:

  • The name of a journal/magazine article should be in quotation marks.
  • The title of a book or journal/magazine should be in italics.
