What are Honor points?

Answer

For help figuring out classes, GPA, or honor points, speak with a One Stop Advisor at 833-691-7867.

To compute the Baker College cumulative GPA, first calculate the honor points for each course completed.  Here's how:

  • Use grade points multiplied by credit hours
  • Example: an A or 4.0 grade in a 3 semester hour course yields 12 honor points
  • Then, add all of the honor points earned at Baker College and divide by the total credit hours attempted for all semesters.

GRADE POINT VALUE LETTERS AND MEANING PER SEMESTER CREDIT

A = 4.0 points

A- = 3.7 points

B+ = 3.3 points

B = 3.0 points

B- = 2.7 points

C+ = 2.3 points

C = 2.0 points

C- = 1.7 points

D+ = 1.3 points

D = 1.0 points

D- = 0.7 points

F = 0.0 points (failure)
