To find a definition and/or in-depth explanation of monetary theory, run a search in the following database.  To get to the database page, start at the library home page, www.baker.edu/library, and click on Find Articles & Databases.  Then click on the Books/eBooks category.  If you are off-campus, you will need to use your 14 digit Library Number, which can be found on your ID Card or on the Login Assistance page in MyBaker.

  • Gale Virtual Reference Library: Contains a paragraph-long entry from the Gale Encyclopedia of U.S. Economic History (which also briefly describes the Federal Reserve) as well as a very in-depth explanation from the International Encyclopedia of the Social Sciences.
