Q. What user name and password should I use when I attempt to access an article that requires a EBSCO username and password?
If you are using Baker Library Search, occasionally people have trouble accessing the articles from home.

Start at the Online Resources and select a topic such as General or Health Sciences. Then select a specific database such as
Helpful hint: You will need your library number. It is 14-digits and on your student ID card.
You can run your search directly in the actual databases from the Online Resources using any database directly.
- If you want to use the aggregate search enginge, Baker Library Search, then having directly accessed an EBSCO database (such the those above), it should by-pass the request for a user name and password for EBSCO.
- If you are looking for a specific article, you can locate the article by its citation in E-Journals A-Z--search the TITLE of the publication and not the title of the article, then accessing the article through the volume and issue number.
