Steps faculty should take to address IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) and ethical issues:

  • Ensure that all information posted online for students complies with fair use in education.

  • Teach students about public domain information or graphs or images.

  • Teach students that some information and images from the internet are subject to copyright restrictions.
