Q. It asked me for an EBSCO login, what do I do?
Baker Library does not use EBSCO user names and passwords, so if you receive that message it means that the link you clicked on did not authenticate you as a Baker College user properly. This often happens to off-campus users of Baker Library Search.
If this happens to you, you will need to access the databases or ebooks directly, instead of by the Library Search box or the Research Guide link. To do this:
Go to the Library homepage
Select a topic such as General, Book/eBooks, Health Sciences, etc.
Then select a database to run a search in such as
(You will need your library card number to access these resources off-campus. It is 14-digits and begins 23504. It is on your ID card and on the Login Assistance page in MyBaker.)
If you are looking for a specific article, you can search for it searching for the journal name in E-Journals A-Z, then accessing the article through the volume and issue number.
